What we are doing to ensure a safe place for you:

We have put off so many things during Covid-19, but looking after your health shouldn’t be one of them. As all licensed acupuncturists have tested through the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine’s (CCAOM) clean needle technique. This includes best practice for acupuncture needle safety and related procedures. In addition we have included the following ~

The office:

We deeply clean and sanitize exam areas (tables, chairs and counters) with disinfectants that are EPA-approved for the corona virus after each patient. We sanitize all high touch areas including door handles and light switches. We’re also regularly sanitizing restrooms and shared surfaces. We added hand sanitizer to all common spaces.

We've installed HEPA (high-efficiency particulate air) filters to purify the air in the office. By trapping tiny particles (like infectious viruses, bacteria, and dust), they do the heavy lifting of keeping harmful particles out of the air you breathe. After each patient, the filter and nebulizer are left running on high for 30 minutes before the next patient enters the room.

The team:

We are screened for symptoms and fevers each day and also test regularly for Covid-19. We wear personal protective equipment, which is changed after any potential exposure and follow strict hand sanitizing procedure.

The flow:

We will send out brief questionnaires to each patient before they come in. We require anyone to wait two weeks from the onset of any symptoms in the questionnaires before coming in for appointment.

Come as close to your appointment time as possible to reduce time spent in the waiting area.

Come to appointment alone.

Upon arrival, we will take temperature with no-touch thermometer. We will ask you to reschedule your appointment if the temperature is greater than 100.3 F.

We ask our patient to wash hands or use provided sanitizer when entering the office.

Wear a mask.

Contact less transactions, we would use the credit card on file before you coming to the appointment, if you would like to use a different card, just let us know prior.
