Over time, the body heals itself as nature intended.
Traditional Chinese Medicine may be an ancient practice, but it’s one that has been proven time and again by modern studies.
Acupuncture points are connected to regions of the brain and nervous system. Those ‘little pins’ excite a response in the body through your nerves, activating a systemic response. An acupuncture needle stimulates the brain, allowing it to naturally produce endorphins, dopamine, and serotonin while decreasing cortisol, adrenaline, and modulating norepinephrine levels.
Ancient art demonstrates what science has proven: Addressing root causes through the interconnected nerves, muscle fibers, and circulatory systems enables us to experience true healing.
Acupuncture needles act on the fact that everything in the body is interconnected, and we have it in our power to signal to the nervous and musculoskeletal systems that it can release tension and pain.
Sink into the treatment table, regulate your breathing, and allow the acupuncture needles to target the right areas of the body. You’ll notice when you feel more relaxed, peaceful, and reset.
When things get challenging, our bodies respond. Pain is a signal to slow down, listen, and heal. The body endures so much throughout a lifetime– from chronic pain to fertility challenges, sports injuries, healing from surgery, or simply daily stress from a high-pressure career and raising children.
We fall out of alignment with wellness, and as we age, we hold more tension and pick up pain like we pick up our morning coffee. As life goes on, we must take responsibility for our health and seek better solutions. Through Acupuncture and Traditional
Chinese Medicine, discover holistic, whole-body wellness that starts on the acupuncture table and empowers you to feel healthier every day.
Whether you are nervous about acupuncture needles or excited to discover their benefits, I look forward to introducing you to a better way to heal, live, and feel better.
From chronic pain and sports injuries to arthritis, injury rehabilitation, anxiety, fertility, and digestion, we treat a variety of common health concerns through acupuncture.
It is okay to take time to be okay. Healing is a journey lined with endless grace.
““Ivy has helped me understand so much about myself, how so many parts of the body are connected, how to balance out my life more, and identified areas that need more care. I leave the treatments feeling refreshed and more centered. I occasionally have some pain in some parts of my body and it's gone by the time I leave my session. Ivy has been my acupuncturist for the past 3 years and I would definitely recommend. I have so many amazing things to say about Ivy and this space she has built””

SAN FRANCISCO ACUPUNCTURIST, TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE PRACTITIONER, and BOARD-CERTIFIED HERBALIST
Born in China and coming of age in the US, I was raised around Traditional Chinese Medicine and always knew it to be a time-honored path toward better living. It wasn’t until I rediscovered it as an adult that my life (and health) changed, which inspired me to leave my corporate career of 12 years behind and become a Licensed Acupuncturist and Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
With more than 5,500 hours of academic and clinical training in Chinese medicine theory, western medicine, acupuncture, herbology, and nutrition, my methods are holistic and integrative. In my practice, I combine cultural heritage, professional insight, and personal experience. I connect Traditional Chinese medicine theories with a comprehensive understanding of anatomy to effectively treat chronic or acute pain.
As a mom of two, I know how challenging it can be to manage your health alongside your work, raising children, and the ups and downs of modern life. My mission is to bridge the gap between traditional healing and modern wellness so you can find balance and embrace a healthier lifestyle. Whether patients seek less medication reliance, improved mobility, or getting back to regular routines, it never ceases to amaze me how many benefits patients see from acupuncture.
Just as I navigate the challenges of modern life and find healing through acupuncture and natural remedies, I hope you experience your own journey of self-discovery and wellness when you experience acupuncture for yourself.
